How do we want to get started on this thing?
Arv & I were talked about not seeing it as 14 months of training for a half-iron triathlon, but to break it up into shorter-term goals:
1. July thru Sep 08 - skills building - polishing swimming & biking techniques, and just starting to get in a few short workouts every week.
2. Sep thru March 09 - train for a haf-marathon, throw in swim/bike workouts as cross-training. Those in warmer climates might shoot to do a sprint distance tri?
3. March thru July 09 - sign up for half-iron training program. We know a really good training group in town, Rogue Training Systems, so we're probably sticking with them.
What do you guys think?
